Hey Everyone!

Today I’m going to be doing a more in-depth review of The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth Concentrate! I did a haul post earlier and a few first impressions that you can see right here. The Body Shop claims that after five days, you’re supposed to see results so here I am back again to give you my thoughts about this interesting serum. By the way, I had an amazing time meeting some of you at The Body Shop event for those who entered my giveaway! But, more on that later.

If you’re unfamiliar with this concentrate, The Body Shop Drops of Youth is fast becoming a popular skincare must-have. A lot of my friends have been using it and a few mums swear by it too. It’s a —–> Read More

So the color of the year 2014 happens to be Radiant Orchid – a fuschia looking purple – according to Pantone. I like the color purple but it’s not something that I wear everyday or think about sporting when it comes to make-up. You would be suprised though that purple does suit most skintones. Although radiant orchid isn’t the typical shade of purple, people’s opinion of the color varies – it could be a lilac, to a fuschia to even a lavender. I thought to myself – what would be uber helpful and I thought a little guide to incorporating this new color of 2014 would be best whether it’s your —–> Read More

I have to say that 2013 was a great year for make-up and skincare for me. I tried and received so many products and I even got to be a judge for a huge magazine here for their beauty awards. But I’ll be telling you more about that later! So, today I thought I might show you what I think were the best products I used in 2013 and what you should definitely add to your list the next time you’re out shopping!P.S – If you see that the name of the product has a link, click on it to see a full review post I did on it earlier if you want to find out more about it!

When I first heard of cleansing oil – I thought it was the most ridiculous thing ever. I get oily fast and blotting sheets are like my best friends, so the idea of putting even more oil on my face was way out of the question. I always thought it would clog my pores even more and lead to a crazy amount of breakouts. Lately though, actually make that a few months now, I’ve been using a cleansing oil to take off my make-up before cleansing again with my normal cleanser and I have found it to be one of the best inventions ever. It is definitely something not to be intimidated —–> Read More

Eyeliner and mascara are probably some of the most important make-up items any girl could have. Eyeliner thickens the lash line and helps your eyes appear much bigger while mascara adds volume and curls your lashes to open up the eyes. I’ve been trying a few brand new additions to the L’Oreal family – the L’Oreal Gelmatic Eyeliners and the Butterfly False Lash Wings Mascara and I’ve been loving them both so I thought I would share my opinion about them with you all in today. I’ll also be showing you a few fun looks that you can do with colored liners so they don’t seem so intimidating anymore! There’s also an exciting giveaway to win a —–> Read More

There are a few ways that I make sure that I keep on top of makeup trends! Other than watching what people are doing on the street, I also make sure I observe what make-up is being put on the runways and done for celebrities at big award ceremonies like the Golden Globes 2014 that recently happened. Here are my top favourite looks from the Golden Globes and what I think is trending.

1. Pop of Color Lips

Thankfully, this is probably my favourite trend of all. A pop of color on the lips whether it be pink or orange or even a burst of red is what I like best. I mean, it’s the Golden —–> Read More

Finding a lipstick favourite in my jungle of a collection is pretty difficult but I’ve found myself using one time and time again so today I was like, why aren’t I telling you about it?! It’s the Burberry Lip Velvet in Redwood and it happens to be right now my all time favourite subtle matte finish lipstick.

First of all, it is instantly classy and chic. I mean look at the packaging – even the lipstick is printed with the signature Burberry pattern and the case is embossed with it. I love how the formula is so smooth and creamy. Not that wet creamy though, just kind of like —–> Read More

Guess what I just got! It’s The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth! I’ve seen this everywhere recently and I’ve been wanting to review it and try it just to see what all the hype is about. So when The Body Shop sent one over, I was more than happy to put it to the test. I thought I might first do a haul post of this product simply because it’s quite special and then I will do an in-depth review of it in a later post when I’ve come up with a verdict! By the way, there’s also an amazing GIVEAWAY that you can read about at the end of this post where you can win a $80 goodie bag including a —–> Read More

Hello from Taiwan! So here I am in my hotel room on New Years Eve celebrating the last few hours of 2013 in my…pajamas. I’m really not complaining though, there’s really nothing better than a soft hotel bed and I guess it’s how I want to celebrate the end of 2013. I’d have to say at the end of it all, 2013 was a really tough year for me but it was also a year in which I got to experience things that were beyond what I thought would be possible for me. A lot of the year I spent working and at the end of it all, I feel like I finished some final year project I’ve been —–> Read More

I remember when I first tried the Rachel K CC Cream a few years ago and loved it. Rachel K is the pioneer of the CC Cream craze and is in fact the first brand to mass produce and commercialise CC creams. When other brands like Chanel to Clinique to Etude House saw what could be a hot trend, they all jumped the bandwagon too. I’m also happy to say that Rachel K first started out as a local Singapore brand but has now turned international with creams selling globally like Malaysia and Hong Kong as well! Other than their skincare line, they’ve recently come out with a new cc cream now called the —–> Read More

I woke up this morning and decided to do my nails. It’s Christmas Eve! I’ve seen so many people with these Christmas sweater nails and I fell in love with them at first sight. I could have gotten them done at a salon but who knows how much that would have cost me. So last night before dinner when I was waiting for Jacob to hurry up and park the car, I saw these babies at Guardian. They are the Model Own Nail Art Pens. I initially spotted them as stripers because I opened the cap and saw the thin brush but soon realised that they can be used as pens too. I’ve been looking high and low for these. I do own nail art brushes —–> Read More

Sometimes getting a facial for me is simply like getting a massage. They claim all sorts of magical things and put all sorts of creams and masks on you that make you feel totally refreshed but to be honest, don’t really heal your skin for the long term. I’ve been going to a new facial place more often now called Kering Skin and for once, I have to say that they’re actually doing wonders for my dull, tired and spotty complexion. I really do like this place and can’t wait to share more with you how special and unique they are and my future sessions with them!
