Hey Everyone!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I’m in London! I’ve actually been in London for the past week and will be here for the rest of the month! It’s been a good year and a half since my last time here and to be honest right now, I really don’t want this holiday to end! Anyway, follow me on instagram @roseannetangrs for all my London adventures! I will probably be uploading a travel vlog soon! One thing I cannot resist is buying make-up here. I really can’t help myself and I always leave with at least something whenever I visit a Boots or Superdrug (which you would think is extremely dangerous for my wallet)! Sleek, BarryM, Rimmel and cooler Maybelline and L’Oreal products —–> Read More

Good Monday everyone. It’s haul time! Woot woot. Today I’m going to be showing you a peek inside my latest acquisition – the Shu Uemura Eye-Conic Collection! There’s a little giveaway at the end so stay tuned! Shu Uemura came out with the eyeconic collection as a celebration of their 30th Anniversary that is inspired by color and creativity from the 1960s or the swingin’ sixties. The collection is beautiful and reminiscent of the hippie culture and colours and I can’t wait to show you what’s in here!

Probably the majority of the collection features these trio eye-shadows and cheek duos. The collection also —–> Read More

Although Lancôme has always been a classic at every department store, I’ve never really tried products from them. I’ve got M.A.C, Bobbi Brown to Shu Uemura but I’ve never really touched Lancôme. I’m not sure why, so today here’s my haul of their new collection – Lancôme Show by Alber Elbaz! If you don’t know, Alber Elbaz is an Israeli Fashion Designer and is the Creative Director for the Paris fashion house, Lanvin – since 2001. Watch him here from Vogue.

He decided to collaborate with Lancôme on a limited edition make-up collection.

Hey Everyone!

hi

It’s always a good thing to hear about new products a little earlier than everyone else, especially when they haven’t hit the stores yet. So, here’s a new one for you –  the Kiehl’s Powerful Wrinkle and Pore Reducing Cream (let’s refer to it as the PWPRC)! This new cream from Kiehl’s will only be available in stores next month (in May) and is a brand new anti-ageing and wrinkle fighter cream!

But you’re probably thinking  - Roseanne, you’re far from getting wrinkles, you’re only 22! True but did you know that the loss of elasticity in your skin begins in our twenties? Maintaing —–> Read More

Hey Everyone!

hi

I think one of the challenges with starting any make-up artist career is building a kit. Not only do you need to get your shade, you need to be able to provide for everyone else’s. While you were opening your awesome Christmas presents, I was opening this. My boyfriend gave me a make-up artist’s dream – the Bobbi Brown BBU Face Palette! Best boyfriend in the world award? Pretty much.

The Bobbi Brown BBU Face palette is not available in retail stores, and is only available online. It is inspired by Bobbi’s own make-up palette that she uses when she works and features her correctors, concealers and foundation sticks. It has a great amount of —–> Read More

Hey Everyone!

When I first came over to London, I was excited to see pretty much two brands – Barry M and SLEEK. Sleek has always been written about in blogs, talked about on YouTube and after getting a Sleek Acid palette online a year ago, I couldn’t help myself to a few Sleek products here. Plus, there was a Superdrug deal (the local health & beauty store) on all beauty items going for 3 for 2 (buy 2 get 1 free) which made these originally £7.99 palettes only about £5 each (about 10 sing dollars). How great right!!

Sleek make-up is actually the drugstore line of NARS, one of my favourite high end brands and it’s really to no surprise.  I’ve been really —–> Read More

Hey Everyone!

I am so excited to share with you my make-up and fashion goodies that I’ve been “collecting” and getting here in the UK! I’m really into affordable drugstore or “high street” as they call it here brands because I know that these are the products that I can’t get anywhere else but in the UK or London!  And, with the store coming along, it also makes for a healthier wallet and a few more savings! :) That being said, the best place to go here in London is Superdrug which is a health/beauty store just like Watsons in Singapore and Priceline in Australia.

We’ve all heard of Sleek and BarryM I’m sure if you’re a beauty blog reader and it was so cool —–> Read More

Hey Everyone!

To be honest, the first time I saw Cetaphil was  when it was stacked up in my parent’s bathroom. My Dad swears by the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser which was recommended by his dermatologist  for helping cure his skin condition at the back of his neck. He has been using it every day and has seen massive improvements . Yet it wasn’t probably the first time I heard about it either. Cetaphil has long been a holygrail product that is not only effective but affordable .  I remember way back  when the first time I used it and I fell in love with it’s non-soap formula. Like an old flame,  I’ve fallen in love again so when Cetaphil contacted me to be their Cetaphil Facebook Expert Tips —–> Read More

Fancl to me has always been one of those brands I’ve wanted to try  for so long, but never got around to doing it. From the super bright store lights, to the beautiful sales assistants dressed to the T, I’ve always been curious at what they had to offer. I mean c’mon, Japanese beauty products belong to a whole new world and I happen to be a fan of the whole thing. Not only do they offer skincare, they also offer supplements to just about any womanly ailment out there, whether it’s fiber  to slimming to hormones for skin clarity. I find that pretty cool.

But if you’re unfamiliar with Fancl, Fancl is a very popular Japanese brand here in —–> Read More

Switzerland is probably known for chocolate, a stack of beautiful mountains and of course natural solutions for skincare. Ujene Skincare is an international icon from Switzerland made with only the finest and purest Swiss ingredients  so when they contacted me, I couldn’t resist checking them out. In fact, so much detail goes into this skincare line that every ingredient can be traced back to its source and origin!

The Puriste Collagen Collection aims to do three things – plumps, firms and lifts instantly. The main ingredient in all of these babies is something called OVILUXE. It is a top grade stuff —–> Read More

Hey Everyone!

I bet only a handful of us would go out wearing neon eye-shadow colors to go shopping. I raise my hand. Maybe it’s the fact that we think we look better in just neutrals but I think it’s probably more-so of what people would think of us. Illamasqua’s Human Fundamentalism collection beckons you to become “who you are and not who you’re told to be”. The collection’s bold and bright colors of commonly unworn shades urges you to turn heads by expressing who you really are. Albeit this blog post is ridiculously long overdue. I was back in Melbourne when this baby was sent to my Singapore address. I thought it was only necessary to —–> Read More

Hey Everyone!

I’m down to my final week in Australia and although most of my make-up is packed up and bubble-wrapped and I probably swore to myself not to buy anymore, I came across these two babies and I couldn’t resist. But trust me, I do have a decent explanation for purchasing and that is well, I’ve never tried anything like them before and they are both spankin’ new products . Plus, I’m leaving so I should be putting my paws on everything I can’t get back in Singapore! Here’s a little haul of the Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Make-Up foundation and the Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam! I am throughly excited to —–> Read More
