Hey Everyone!

Matching undertones, textures and complexions ought to be one of the most important things you need to know. If you want to match your skintone successfully or get the right shade of lipstick, you’ll have to be able to match your undertone, to avoid looking like a cakey mess, you’ll have to match textures and to keep yourself from piling up the make-up, you’ll have to match complexions.

Little do we know, there’s a bunch of awesome tools online that can help us explore more about make-up besides catching up on your favorite blogs and youtube channels. I’ve always been a nervous wreck when it comes to buying a bra. I’m pretty shy so harboring enough courage to ask a sales assistant to come measure me is a challenge in itself. I mean lingerie and bras have always been a tricky issue, especially if you’ve just started wearing one and even if you’re well into the bra wearing age, you might not even be wearing the right one for you.

Hey Everyone,

Let’s be real. You could look like Miss Universe on the outside but if you’re like the wicked witch of the west on the inside, I don’t believe you can ever be truly beautiful. Whether it’s something simple like opening the door for the next person behind you or a strong charismatic glow, inner beauty I think takes many forms.

I have to admit that for the longest time, I’ve been skeptical of lower priced items. If you’ve been with me for a while, you would have noticed my constant coos of NARS, MAC and department store products that seemed to flood the drawers of my collections.

Hey Everyone,

I don’t know about you but I sure think that buying makeup at the counter can get pricey. Too pricey in fact. In Australia, my wallet can go on a lean and mean diet for dishing out 39 bucks for a revlon foundation at Priceline when I know I can get it in the states for $8 which explains my dreary late night activity of hunting down beauty bargains at the following online stores.

I have to say that I’m a foundation buff and just as there are so many varieties of foundation, there are just as many varieties of methods to apply them. I don’t know about you but I’ve been seeing my newsfeed and twitterfeed filled lately with updates regarding the hot, hot, hot Singapore weather. Although the weather would be quite welcoming here in Melbourne being about ten to fifteen degrees right now nearing winter, I thought it would be pretty handy to state my top ten tips to keeping your make-up fresh during the summer time.

It’s common to see our vanities stocked with products from the department or drugstores, but little do we know that your local grocery shop can carry a few beauty secrets too. Here are a few ways to put some household products to good use whether it be using a hairdryer to “iron” out wrinkles or using baking powder to substitue your whitening sessions to save a bit of loose change.

I got a little request a while back by the lovely Jay, asking:

Jay has been with me since the very beginning so of course anything she asks I do. Haha. Check her blog out here: http://feistyskies.onsugar.com! and this is a great question for all of you wondering what exactly is the difference between the drugstore Maybelline Dream Matte Powder and the department store MAC MSF Natural.

I visited the Topshop makeup stand @ ION and I must say, it’s quite a selection of products – lip glosses, eyeshadow trios, tints, bronzers, blushes and lots of nail polishes. All of the blushes were sold out before I got there but I have to say the makeup packaging is quite the adorable.
