Hey Everyone!

I love make-up collaborations – they’re fun, collectible and it’s always cool to see how a specific brand interprets an idea or concept. No other make-up brand does it better than M.A.C with I think probably hundreds of different collection collaborations under their belt. When it comes to fun, the M.A.C x Disney Cinderella Collection is no exception! Inspired by the most iconic Disney princess of all time and the new movie, each piece in the collection is encased in a gorgeous fairytale lavender blue! Thanks to M.A.C, I have received a few products from the Cinderella collection to share with you today and I’ll be doing a giveaway at the end of this post so stay tuned!

Hey Everyone!

hihi

I don’t know about you, but I am a huge fan of The Simpsons! I grew up with it! I used to come home and literally wait for the show to air at about 6PM everyday on the local TV. It’s so funny but it has some grown up humor as well that I love! So when M.A.C came out with The Simpsons collection, I was so excited.

hi2

I managed to get my hands on one palette from the collection – Marge’s Extra Ingredients. I believe there are a few more eyeshadow quads from the collection but I feel this is the most wearable of the lot because purples tend to suit any skin tone! The quad is so cute. On the front, Marge is peeking out at you! I reckon this might be her eyeshadow palettes if she did use make-up. Marge’s Extra Ingredients seems to be inspired by her hair I believe! When you open up the palette, you have four shades and I love how each of them is imprinted with Marge’s face as well. So adorable. This particular palette comes with Harpooned Heart (a light pink), Sexy PB & J (a deep purple), Beehive Blue (a cosmic blue) and Vivacious Vacuum Cleaner (a blue black). Don’t you love the names?

Hey Everyone!

I have to admit, a stippling brush looks a bit odd. It’s a bunch of animal hair bristles and poking through that bush is a bunch of taller white synthetic bristles. But this brush is basically a miracle worker because there are just so many ways to use them! It’s one of my first face brushes and it’s one of my favourites because you can basically use one brush to do your whole face. It’s not totally suggested because you don’t want to mix your liquid foundation with your powder blush but at least it’s the thought that counts.

Yet, too many people complain that this baby streaks during application but little do they know that they’re just not using it properly! That’s what I’m here for. Today I’ll be showing you all you need to know about Stippling brushes – including how to use them, what they’re best for and giving a little review of the few ones that I own. There are four things that a stippling brush can do for you – it’s great for liquid foundation, powder, blush and bronzer. We’ll see how.

Hey Everyone,

Time to add another post to my Ultimate Lipstick Review series. Probably one of the most overhyped products there are, are MAC lipsticks. I remember being crazy about them and now I’ve ended up with 12 or so lipsticks that I totally could do without. But despite the jazzy names and colors, is there really substance to these lipsticks? Honestly, in comparison to other lipsticks I’ve tried, they really lack. But, things are easier said than done so let’s look at one famous MAC lippie in Plink and forget about the YouTube hype that made me buy these lipsticks in the first place.

Hey Everyone!

I’ve never had really dark under-eye circles fortunately, but unfortunately I receive many questions on how you can eliminate these often annoying flaws. The truth is, I’m not an expert. I’m not an expert because I don’t get them often so when I woke up one day and looked into the mirror to see them flashing back at me, I yelled in excitement for this was an opportunity to well, “eliminate” them. Using make-up that is.

Go Away, Dark Circles?

Here’s a bit of background to dark under-eye circles first. Before you go running around finding a cold cucumber and some ice, I’m going to tell you first off that it probably won’t work. Dark circles are often genetic. That means it runs in your blood. Don’t worry, there’s worse things out there. I have diabetes and high blood pressure running in my blood so it’s not the end of the world. It just simply means somewhere in your family, your mom, your dad probably has dark circles too. If that is so, there’s no magic cream or cure that will rid of them forever. Of course dark circles can also be caused from a lack of sleep (that’s where mine come from), stress, or living habits or even aging. How do you take them away forever? You can’t. So well, you might as well hide them.

Hey Everyone!

If you take two lipsticks and two different people, you’ll have four different looks, not two. Why? Because makeup looks different on different people.

Today, I’ve grabbed one of my best friends, Danielle, to show you what I mean. We decided well not really decided, it was sort of on a whim, like all the things we do, and we thought it would be cool to reach out of our comfort zones to try on different lipsticks. Although we are pretty similiar people except I think she’s more of a social butterfly than I am, you’ll notice that she’s a cooler tone and her lips are totally different from mine. We’ll take the same lipstick and switch it up to compare nude versus bold lips.
