It seems like durian delivery is really all the rage right now. Instead of full on posts on dalgona coffee and burnt cheesecake, Singaporeans have taken much to getting their durian fix online. Being a durian lover myself, I was really excited when 8Durian contacted me to see if I was interested in trying out their durian delivery service.
8 Durian only provides Grade A durians only delivered fresh from Pahang. Their plantation has state of the art tech with a great irrigation system, durable nets for durians to fall on and even organic fertiliser. Thus, you will be consuming farm fresh durians all in less than 12 hours of plucking. They have their own private plantation to ensure freshness.
I went ahead and ordered two boxes of premium Mao Shan Wang AAA grade Pahang High Mountain plantation and once box of the coveted Premium Black Gold Durian. The check out and order on their website was extremely seamless. Simply pick what you’d like, add to cart, pick a delivery time and make payment. The durian was delivered to us in a couple of hours on the same day!
The Black Gold is slightly more richer in flavour than the MSW and is characterised by slight dark stripes along the meat. I couldn’t really see them but I felt like Black Gold did taste more premium than the MSW. Both were really nice and creamy and I liked how delivery was very efficient.
