It’s hard to find Italian pizza online. We are so used to the heavier American slices but thin crust pizzas are normally very expensive with huge delivery fees involved. A few weeks ago, Pizza Delivery contacted me to see if I wanted to review their pizzas and I jumped at the opportunity. With the pandemic happening globally, food services have jumped online and into delivery and it’s my pleasure to try and get the word out for these restaurants.
If you haven’t heard of it yet, Pizza Delivery Singapore serves Italian style thin crust pizzas in various popular flavours, gourmet pasta and a selection of sides. Ordering from the website is fairly simple, almost like online shopping for your dinner! They actually have 6 central kitchens islandwide. I was amazed at the selection of pizza and pasta. You can also select the date and time when you want it delivered and they do it fast on the day itself as well.
We ordered two pastas, and two pizzas. The pizzas we ordered were the Bolognese pizza and the Hawaiian pizza. I really liked the flavours, and the crust was thin. I think the only area of improvement would for sure be finding a way to deliver the pizzas more hot. They explained that delivery location was far away but that they will improve this aspect.
The pastas however were quite good. I really liked the Bolognese pasta, the sauce was cooked well and the pasta was al dente. The Aglio Olio pasta however may have needed a little more flavour. Otherwise, both were a safe bet and would have been better at a higher temperature.
We also ordered a small side of chicken wings to go with our meal. Overall, Pizza Delivery was a good quick fix for Italian food especially if you aren’t looking for the pasta and pizza you normally find from a fast food chain that happens to be very heavy at times. The crust was super thin and you don’t feel too overwhelmed with this meal.
