Review: Diorshow Extase Flash Plumping Mascara

Posted by roseannetangrs in Eyes | Reviews | Uncategorized

Hi :)

This review has been sponsored by The Beauty Club (www.thebeautyclub.com.au) but of course, it’s 100% honesty to the maximum.

Beautiful packaging with the wand being very similar to the Rimmel Sexy Curves. I haven’t tried that mascara before though.

I had high hopes for this one, more because it was loved by TheCurrentCustom. But, I was a bit dissapointed. At the beggining, I absolutely hated it but I realized that all mascaras start a little wet right off the batt and you need a little more time so that the product dries a bit for it to perform at its best, but even its best disappointed. I mean, I still like the stuff. When you have eyeshadow on, it gives your lashes the dimension you need. Eyeshadow off..um. Yea.

It’s one of those mascaras that apply beautifully, panorama, length and volume but blink a bit and the curl is gone. It sort of sticks straight out like this:

I know, welcome to Pore-city. Sorry.

Although its curl disappoints, its volume and lengthening power exceeds most mascaras I’ve tried. The curl is mediocre, but the volume and length receives a thumbs up! Overall, its a 3.5 – 4/5 A little higher because my lashes are probably the most stubborn out there, it would probably be a level better on your lashes. View the video for a more complete review:

For some reason,  I can’t place my video review here..

Honestly, I like it. But, save your money and get another.

Update on Life:

I’m free! Except, I keep on feeling that I have to study the next day. It’s kind of boring actually and I can’t wait to go home on Saturday :) I will be going to Hong kong for a weekend on the 15th so I’ll be looking forward to that I guess but hopefully we have an onsugar meetup soon! Will update this later, I just spent the last few hours doing the banner so I don’t feel like blogging haha.

xx Roseanne
