It’s that time of year again, Chinese New Year! and I’m more excited than ever. It seems like CNY treats are easily ordered and delivered online and with so many to choose from, it can be hard to decide. When Pineapple Tart Singapore asked me to see if I would like to try out a few CNY treats that they provide, I was overjoyed. The website and delivery process was quick and efficient. I checked out the goodies, arranged timing for delivery and the treats came right on time at the specified timing and date to my doorstep. Here’s what I got!
One of my all time favourite Chinese New Year treats has to be pineapple tarts! I mean who doesn’t like them. I ordered three varieties – pineapple ball, cheese pineapple tart and the SCS butter pineapple tart. They actually have a huge variety of pineapple tarts you can choose from but these stood out to me the most.
I liked how the pineapple tarts were not so sweet, the outer layer was buttery and soft as well. The cheese pineapple tarts were my favourite, you can really taste the cheesy exterior.
However they don’t just provided great pineapple tarts, I also picked up spicy prawn spring roll crackers, pandan kueh bangkit and almond cookies.
I liked the pandan kueh bangkit the best. I liked the flavour that was soft yet sweet and the fragrant pandan was also a really nice touch.
I think the treat that didn’t last long were the popiah skin crackers. I ordered the Salted Egg and Mala flavour and they were actually pretty addictive. They were really good and fresh and I recommend these. Of course who could forget the love letters too!
These were absolutely delicious!
Overall, I highly recommend ordering from Pineapple Tart Singapore! Worth a shot especially the popiah skin crackers!
