Pillows are a lot like perfume, to some extent the pillow that we sleep on every single night needs to really fit us. I’ve been seeing the ads for Origin mattress on my facebook feed every now and then and when the contacted me to review their pillow, I was on it!
Origin specialises in matresses however they asked me to review the Origin Superior Coolmax® Latex Pillow. It offers responsive Latex foam support with a tencil fabric pillow cover.
Due to the amount of orders they had, it took about 4 days in total to be delivered and even then, that’s fast! The pillow is hypoallergenic, is anti-bacterial, alleviates pains and aches and is designed by orthopaedics. It comes in this blue box like this!
I really liked how the pillow was more of the flatter kind. I don’t like when the pillow is too high, it really gives me a neck ache. However, this pillow is really for those who like a firmer pillow. Latex in general is denser compared to memory foam and fibre. But, it is able to mould to your head and gives you the perfect level of sleep support. It is also less susceptible to bacteria and mould so it’s great for those with sensitivity issues.
Overall, I’m thankful for this opportunity to try something new. The pillow is more durable than others, being able to hold shape in the years to come. Well, we’ll see about that.
