Hello, I was tagged by Madcancer(Maddymadeline) to do a beauty tag. I was going to put this as a vid on youtube but I’ve had a lot to do on my to do list and thought it quicker actually to go ahead and write it as a blog post so enjoy!
What’s your favourite make up look?
My favourite make up look is definetly a grey/brown shimmer smokey eye with everyday minerals base, face, contoour and blush on – natural but sexy :)
Do you have a beauty vice?
hahaa ohh probably everyone knows about this now – EVERYDAY MINERALS :D buying way too much of this stuff but i can’t help myself, i am totally in love with this stuff. i check sgdedmswap daily hehe
What part of your body do you love?
I get a lot of compliments about my face shape (angled) and I don’t have the typical asian nose so I guess those. But honestly, I really love my body, even if its not very slim, I’m perfectly fine with it :)
Who is your beauty icon?
beauty icon – those models on the everyday minerals website have amazing make up artists haha but i dont really have a beauty icon, i guess anyone who can pull off a dark sexy smoky eye but look amazingly natural :)
blush and contour! actually probably contour, really puts an edge to your face that is quite the magnificent. gives you the model look i guess and of course eyeliner and mascara are a must have. How do you look after your skin?
Hmm..I wash my face twice a day with st. ives apricot scrub and….moisturize with sheep placenta pearl cream I got in China that works wonders, use nixoderm and egyptian magic cream when I need to ^^ and then every week queen helene’s mint julep masque, i also wash all my brushes weekly!
What is your signature scent?
I don’t really have a signature scent, I have many perfumes and use them interchangelably. probably should stick with one hahaa..in fact, i heard the men like it and can connect and think of you more if you use one scent hmmm. ehh i’m off relationships for now :P
What are your hair care secrets?
I use sunsilk shampoos and conditioners, period.
How do you pamper yourself?
SHOPPING – retail therapy always does the trick, doesn’t it girls? haha. and of course mmm a nice slice of carrot cake at a cafe or even better delicious mozarella cheese on fresh cut large tomatoes and balsalmic vinegar – mmm! I absolutley love love food.
What is your beauty pet peeve?
my beauty pet peeve? Like walking around and seeing people wear blush, my favourite kind of make-up incorrectly? then yea :P it’s not like i’m terminator woman and will go up to them and beg them to clean it off while i dig my eyes out, but its just something I notice :P Don’t like it when people put SO much of it. on the cheeks like war paint.
What would your desert island must haves be?
Desert island must haves. man, if I was stuck on a desert island, I might not be thinking of make up, more like HOW the hell am I supposed to survive?? hahah. Water, and anything that makes water, some sticks yo and food…I have no idea, I don’t think i will be stuck on one anytime soon..*gulp* if you’re talking make up though, and if all my needs are taken care of – probably everyday minerals. oh yea and my cellphone to get someone to get me out of there!
Finally, do you have a beauty philosophy?
beauty comes from within babes, make up highlights your inner beauty but a bitch with make up on ain’t gonna be any prettier than an angel without any on :D
