Review: Leaders Clinic Clinie Korean Face Masks Part One

Hey Everyone!

I have to stay that reviewing face masks are a challenge. You can’t use them everyday, you put them on once and you can’t really see the difference at times but I’m going to do my best for you. Here’s a review of the Leader’s Clinic Masks which were sponsored to me way back and I didn’t find the time to do until now. Because of the amount of masks given to me, I think doing them slowly in parts, highlighting three at a time is best. You can get these masks at Guardian and they make great stress-relievers when you put them all in the fridge first and whip em out when you need a break.

Disclaimer: The review consists of my own opinons, the masks were given to me. Alrighty then.

Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

One of the key trademarks of these masks are the silk cellulose masks that are soaked in the product of either essential extracts or an actual ampoule. Refer to my haul of theses masks in this post for a better idea: http://roseannetangrs.com/?p=9170184. I have to say you get a lot of product in each satchet so no worries there and I do like the material. It allows my skin to breathe.

Well, aren’t I attractive here? Ha-ha. No. But, for the sake of this review, here I am, exactly what you don’t want your boyfriend to catch you wearing before a big date. There goes my love life lol.  Anyway, you can see that the mask is thin enough for you to see even my blemishes, proof that the majority of the product will seep into the skin and not into the mask. A little problem already was that it didn’t really fit me, I wanted the eye sockets to be a little smaller so that the product could attend to my eye-bags but I guess nothing a little shifting can’t solve.

We should probably get down to actually reviewing theses masks. I’m not going to show you before and after pictures, I think that’s a little too much for me to do so trust me, and I’ll let you know exactly what I think.

1. TeaTree Healing Solution Mask

When you open this baby up, it smells very medicinal so if you aren’t for tea-tree medicine smelling things then probably not up for it. Very cooling, very nice, slightly slimy at first but what mask isn’t and I felt a slight tingling sensation when I put it on. Skin effects? After five or so, my redness did decrease around my nose area and my skin looked more toned down but it didn’t stop any breakouts or pimples that I had. Not for that, but for redness it turned out alright.

2. Platinum V-Lift Essential Mask

After five or so, I can’t say this did much at all. I felt a tingling sensation but I don’t think that it really had any effect on lifting my face or making it any firmer than it already was. It was a good mask to pop outta the fridge, girls night out, don’t really care if it does anything, but i’m cool because it’s a sleepover and I’m wearing face masks. Ok, bad joke. Anyway, it didn’t do much. Smells good, clean smelling and a smell I can’t really describe. It’s a good one though.

3. I.P.L Whitelux Ampoule Mask

My favourite out of the three. I really did see improvements in my skin with this and I looked more radiant. This mask was a little different from the rest. It wasn’t slimy, it was the watery sort and I liked it because it didn’t feel heavy on my skin. Skin benefits wise, I really saw a toned down, more fair, radiant complexion after each use. Because it was exam time when I did this every other day before I went to sleep (this was about 2 or 3 AM) so pretty late but still, probably one of my exam life-savers, which I shall do my next post on!

I’m still working on Part 2 but I hope you had a wonderful time reading this. Until next time….(not sure what to say here).
