Hey Everyone!

A few weeks ago, I was invited to do a make-up demo at the INGLOT Store in Wisma Atria! I love doing make-up demos especially in town so I jumped on the opportunity. I also got to play around with their latest collection – the gorgeous Fall in Love Collection that features cool frosty shades very reminiscent of the winter season. Just wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who came as well!

Here is my gorgeous model, Luisa Gan. She is also Miss Singapore Model of the World 2014 and an amazing lady who is absolutely gorgeous. We snapped this pic right after I did just her base make-up so that we don’t take too much time during the demo itself.

These days, skin gadgets are getting more and more popular. Some help cleanse the skin while some even use light to repair and renew our skin cells. Today, I’ll be doing a review on a new home spa device – the Skin Inc Optimizer Voyage! I’ve always been entralled by light technology for skincare. The Optimizer Voyage specially uses LED Chromotherapy and Low Frequency Current Stimulation to wake up skin cells and enhance the absorption of active ingredients in skincare products. This research is based on NASA technology and provides Skin Inc with a new fuss free anti-ageing light therapy that we can now use everyday at home.

Hey Everyone,

A phone, like my make-up, is definitely a “can’t live without” item. I’m on my phone literally all the time, probably a little too much. I’ve been using a new phone for about a month already and I have fallen major head over heels in love with it and want to share it with you- it’s the Samsung GALAXY ALPHA 4G+.  Previously, I had the Samsung GALAXY K Zoom and even though it was a great phone with an amazing camera, it was a little too bulky to heave around. I needed something slim, sleek and stunning and I found just that in the Samsung GALAXY ALPHA 4G+.

I only recently came back from my Australia trip and it was amazing. I went for 8 nights in total with my good friend Rinku who I’ve known from High School. We originally wanted to go to New Zealand but we decided to hop to Sydney and Melbourne and save New Zealand for a later date. I’ve been to both Sydney and Melbourne before and in fact, I studied in Melbourne for three years for college but I’ve been wanting to go back for so very long. Can you believe it – it’s already been 2 and a half years since I was back there and I have so many memories and friends who I wanted to see. So here’s 10 amazing things I did in Sydney & Melbourne!

I can’t believe its nearly that time of year! I don’t know about you but Christmas and the holidays is my ultimate favourite season. Flood me with Christmas decorations and cookies, music and possibly the most exciting collections by your various make-up brands. Chanel is no exception and to be honest, I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t impressed by a collection by them. So when I got my hands on the Chanel Christmas 2014 Collection, you can pretty much imagine how ecstatic I was.

The Chanel Christmas 2014 Collection is inspired by the gracefullness and softness of feathers embellished with antique gold, silver and diamonds. It is a solely evening palette and while the eyes may be soft and smokey, Chanel has paired it with fiery reds in the lips and nails for added exuberance. I have to say that this is a gorgeous collection and something worth splurging on and for yourself as well. The eyeshadow palette – Les 5 Ombres De Chanel in Oiseaux de Nuit – is one of my ultimate favourites. The blending and softness of the eye shadow is incredible and the pigmentation is bold as well. The combination of colors produces a gorgeous gold and gray soft smokey eye that I will be showing you in my tutorial.

Hey Everyone,

so,

Everyone’s favourite fragrance is a little different. Maybe we’re into a solid musk or perhaps a fruity citrus. Whatever it is, one things for sure is that smells remind us of stuff – memories, feelings and emotions. For me, I love scents that wrap me up in a fuzzy warm blanket – they’re soft, feminine and comfortable. They’re complex enough to require a minute of thought but simple enough to warrant everyday wear.

My scent of the moment is the Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet EDP. I love this so much. It’s such a versatile and feminine scent that is light and heavy enough. I can wear it to lunch or dinner and it’s a classic fragrance people for sure turn heads to. The perfume actually celebrates Dior’s love for flowers (and mine too!) with a soft composition of Sicilian Mandarin Essence and Rose Essence on a velvety White Musk base. Christian Dior himself has said that he “created Miss Dior so I could see my dresses float out of the bottle one after another, dressing women in a trail of desire,”.
