Hey Everyone!

So tomorrow will be my fourth day of work and I must say I’m having a blast being an intern for an advertising firm! Dressing well is pretty important when meeting clients so here is a work-appropriate look that I’ve been doing every day.

When finding a work-appropriate look, you want to look for a look that not only suits you but isn’t too dark and dramatic. A neutral look that matches most outfits is perfect. In this post, you’ll also get a few product reviews of current products that I’m using in my everyday routine. Enjoy!

Step #1: After priming, use a light silver pink eye-shadow all over the lid. Use a blending brush to sweep the colour.

Hey Everyone!

Here’s a really simple look that I think is day appropriate but will add a little dimension to your eyes. I’m using the Stila Marrakesh quad quite often these days and this is one of the looks you can make from them, might do another pinkier look as well later on. I’ve also been experimenting with just using my blending brush as my only eye tool and I really like how smoothly blended the look becomes with less pigmentation that I usually wear. According to your preference, you might want to opt for a dark brown liner as well if the black seems to bold.

Hey Everyone!

It’s been a while since I made a look and with the new UD NYC Book of Shadows still at Sephora stores, I thought it would be fun to create a look with the palette for all of those people who don’t know what to do with it.

I’m probably queen of smoky eyes because that’s my favourite look so here’s one you can do for a fun girl’s night out! I suggest you view the video, it’s less than five minutes.

Oh and a few days ago, Urban Decay sent me the following things :) that sparked me to do a review on the Urban Decay eyeshadows. I think though the best way to demonstrate eyeshadows was to do a tutorial and its up there :) Urban Decay Eyeshadows are so pigmented and highly blendable because they have minimal amounts of binders and fillers that equates to pigmented and vivid colors.

Here is what I received:

2 Urban Decay Eyeshadows in Mildew and Vert! and UDPP samples in original and sin

A wonderful note from Eric Jimenez who I met at the UD event! Not sure what he’s thanking me for though, but thanks Eric!!
