Hey Everyone,

hiiiisd

I believe make-up has a tendency to fall in love with people. On some, it stays on all day long and on others like me, it’s quick to disappear. You’d think that after so many years of being immersed in it – it would love me back – but honey, it looks like it’s going to be a one sided love affair. I’ve tried a lot of things to make it stay but it just has places to go and things to do. That’s why I’ve had to resort to these methods to lure it on and make it stick. Here are my favourite ways to make my make-up last and I thought that I’d list out the most “effective” ones and share it with you. They can be used by themselves or in a powerful combination.

Today I’m going to be doing a more in-depth review of The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth Concentrate! I did a haul post earlier and a few first impressions that you can see right here. The Body Shop claims that after five days, you’re supposed to see results so here I am back again to give you my thoughts about this interesting serum. By the way, I had an amazing time meeting some of you at The Body Shop event for those who entered my giveaway! But, more on that later.

If you’re unfamiliar with this concentrate, The Body Shop Drops of Youth is fast becoming a popular skincare must-have. A lot of my friends have been using it and a few mums swear by it too. It’s a Youth Enhancing Concentrate that claims to help your skin become smoother, healthier and more radiant. It is also 98% organic (which is amazing) and its key ingredients are the Criste-Marine plant stem cells and organic and fair-trade Babassu Oil. Read more here to find out what else it contains. The product comes in a glass bottle with a pipette that you use to squeeze two or three drops onto the palm of your hand. Then, spread it in between your fingers and pat it into your skin.

Guess what I just got! It’s The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth! I’ve seen this everywhere recently and I’ve been wanting to review it and try it just to see what all the hype is about. So when The Body Shop sent one over, I was more than happy to put it to the test. I thought I might first do a haul post of this product simply because it’s quite special and then I will do an in-depth review of it in a later post when I’ve come up with a verdict! By the way, there’s also an amazing GIVEAWAY that you can read about at the end of this post where you can win a $80 goodie bag including a 30ml bottle of Drops of Youth and an exclusive invitation to join me at an event at Amore and Yellow Cup Coffee! There will be five winners but more talk about that later!

Although The Body Shop has been renowned for it’s body care and environmentally friendly products, I never really saw it as a make-up brand until they came out with these amazing Colour Crush eye shadows. Newly launched in Singapore, The Body Shop Colour Crush eye shadows come in 30 different shades, all single shadows which make them look just like smarties! They offer both pearl and matte shades and have an extensive colour range from the safe colours to the more wilder pinks, blues and greens.

My ultimate favourite one is this vivid pink because of course you know that vivid pink is totally my colour! The name goes by Berry Cheeky which is a hot berry pink that is really pigmented. I just love how smooth the shadows are and how easily they glide on the skin. They have amazing texture and I’m really surprised since I usually see The Body Shop as more body care than make-up.

Hey Everyone,

Today, I’ll be talking about butter. Not really the kind you slathered on your pancakes this morning but rather the ones that The Body Shop makes which happen to be one of their signature products.

The Body Shop Body Butters have been around for ages, and scented with scrummy fruits like my personal favourites including Pink Grapefruit, Passionfruit and Papaya. I love those smells! Acting as an all over body moisturiser, these creamy products provide softening and moisturising benefits to the skin. When I came to The Body Shop office in Singapore to collect the prizes for the upcoming contest (I know, awesomeness!), the lovely Fiona dropped some magic into my bag. What’s the magic? Body Butter Duos. In fact, the Body Shop has recently upgraded these Body Butters and have stocked their shelves with new Body Butter duos! In this post, we’ll take a first look at these one-pot wonders.

Hey Everyone,

It’s that special time of year when you’re either calling bids that Valentine’s Day is just a marketing gimmick, lucky enough you have someone special to celebrate with or like me, crying your eyes out. Just kidding!  But seriously, Mr. Right better get on a segway soon, he seems to be walking and smelling the flowers at the same time.  Nevertheless, what’s a beautiful valentine night without looking your best for your significant other? Thus, here’s a look that I hope will make you the apple of his eyes. :)

I wanted to create a look with The Body Shop A La Mode quad from the Brush with Fashion Collection so pretty much, the eyes were created using the quad with the exception of the mascara. You always have to keep the same concept of having a lighter color all over the lid and a darker or more colorful outer-corner. That being said, I had either silver or white to work with because pink all over the lid might look like you have a rash – trying out both, I picked the white. I do hope you fall in love with this look!
