Hey Everyone!

Happy Good Friday! I’ve been a crazy fan of LUSH since my university days and I’d often be found in the LUSH shop back in Melbourne Central taking home a mask or soap possibly every week! I’m in love with the very natural products and the homey just made feel. Today I want to share with you their brand new Mother’s Day collection that will be launching on April 10th, 2015 at all Singapore outlets. Thank you LUSH for sending these over!

Here they are! The collection includes the LUSH Yummy Mummy shower gel, Rose Bombshell, Yummy Mummy Body Conditioner, Love You Mum Soap and Mother Superior Bubbleroon! I’ve tried all of these “types” of products before but in other scents – but not specifically the ones featured in this collection. I suppose the formula is the same as it is the same type of product but in a different scent. Nonetheless since this is a haul and NOT a review, I’ll be giving my general first impressions on them based on the scent, appearance and my previous experiences with the same type of product. Hope this makes sense!

Hey Everyone!

I’ve always been a Lush friendly fan. I’ve soaped up with most of their soaps, slathered on most of their masks and what can I say, I just love their whole concept. So when I was walking along back in Melbourne, I spotted that they now have their own make-up line. LUSH previously had skin tints, much like tinted moisturisers but  I didn’t get too excited because of their limited color ranges. Now that they have their own colors, I thought why not?

When you walk into the store, you’re probably confused. Most of the pigments are hidden in a color wheel, what you see above. You twirl it around, don’t get it and leave. That’s what I did the first time anyway until the second time a LUSH SA wanted to give me a color reading with the color wheel. I thought why not? He told me to simply close my eyes and imagine a white room. After he gave the wheel a twirl, I was to open my eyes and point out the first three colors that I think would splash on those white walls. Simple as I usually am, I just went for the first three colors – the bright pink, the brighter pink and a bright green. What do you know right? Anyway, each of the colors represent a state of mind or emotion. Those colors translated to the fact that I’m passionate, I just need to believe and trust my intuition. To be honest, it’s pretty accurate, not bad at all. I didn’t end up purchasing those colors because I don’t like wasting make-up and want make-up that I can wear everyday.

Hey Everyone,

Like a cat and it’s scratch post, my skin loves a good scrub. And that is probably the weirdest analogy you’ve heard all day. Apologies. I’ve wanted to try Ocean Salt for a while now. The chunks of sea salt and the smell of a mini margarita in a pot always appealed to me. I’ve even probably had to stop myself from eating it potentially. Enough words said though, I love it, and I use it often in my morning routine to give my skin a good clean. Here’s a review of the LUSH Ocean Salt Facial Scrub!

Housed in it’s iconic black Lush tub, the Ocean Salt Facial Scrub boasts the following:

Hey Everyone!

LUSH will always have a soft spot for me. I love walking into their stores and being greeted by what I call cakes of multicolored soaps and those classic black tubs that face masks, moisturisers and cleansers call home. In fact, I can pretty much tell if a LUSH store is just around the corner just by sniffing the air, it has a classic smell and  I love it. Today I’ll be doing a review of one of their best -sellers – the Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser. Just like any standard review, I’ll be talking about the packaging, the product, it’s claims and applying it so you can see the before and after effects of its application. Did you know LUSH is coming to Singapore very soon? I’m so excited.

Hey Everyone!

I apologize for the lack of blogging lately. I’ve been totally swamped by good old university work – mouth covered in chocolate and eye-bags the size of god knows what. Despite that, I’ve been on Lush’s tail to try every face mask they have. I’ve reviewed the Lush Brazened Honey Face Mask, and I’m here yet again to do another one. This time it’s the Catstrophe Cosmetic.

If you love blueberries and love them enough that you want to look like Willy Wonka’s Violet Beuraguard when she impulsively chews some gum that eventually turns her into a blueberry, then I’m very pleased to say that this is for you. Although the feeling will be temporary, you can relish in the fact that for that temporary 10 minutes, you will look like one. Congratulations.

Hey Everyone!

I’ve had a horrible urge to shop lately and not the kind of shopping that can be quelled by a credit card or a web browser either, the kind that calls for paper bags and more than a bit of immediate satisfaction. So today was shopping day and knowing me, I was prepared to walk away from this day empty handed as I often do but as I dug through my bag, I came across a 10% LUSH voucher. Recently turned LUSH addict, I merrily walked to the store knowing that this was my chance to satisfy a much abandoned urge.

I tried mostly all the products I got from LUSH (not very many) tonight. Yes, I did wash my hair with beer, slathered seaweed all over my face and then painted it over with a face mask that made me look more Smurf than human being. You gotta love LUSH right? Thus, I’ll give a few of my own first impressions of the slightly unconventional bath products I’ve added to my collection today. Plus, I have a little surprise from KIT and at the end of this post, I’ll quell your jealous smirks and tell you all about roseannebeauty mail order as well!
