If you don’t know about Young Women Leadership Connection (YWLC), it’s an engagement platform here in Singapore that is so special because it serves as a mentorship, enrichment, networking and community engagement platform for young women leaders at the university-to-work stage of their lives.

Symmetry is just about the only decent brunch I’ve had in Singapore so far. In fact, it’s a little more than decent, it’s really good guys. I might sound like I’m some pompous food critic but when you’ve lived in land of brunch called Melbourne in Australia for a few years, you’re basically set to accept that it’ll be hard to find a place where coffee isn’t just coffee and eggs aren’t just eggs.

I’m not too proud that sometimes I can become a work-a-holic (with the blog, doing make-up professionally and the store) just like anyone but here’s a few tips that will really change your life when it comes to having a lot on your plate.

Hope the Monday blues didn’t get to you today, but if they did, here’s a cupcake and a mighty good one at that. Chancing upon The Hummingbird Bakery in London was by no surprise a mistake. My parents being fans of antiques led the way to Portobello Market at Notting Hill in London, a great place for trinkets and basically people’s old stuff.
